Terso Solutions, Inc. (“Terso,” “we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you use the Stratosphere platform, including the Stratosphere mobile application published on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store (collectively, the “Services”).

By using Stratosphere, you acknowledge and agree that your information will be processed as described in this Privacy Policy.

3. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies when you:

  • Use the Stratosphere mobile app
  • Use Stratosphere through a web browser
  • Access any Stratosphere-connected APIs or managed devices
  • Contact us for support, sales, or general inquiries
  • Receive communications from us related to Stratosphere

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked to or from Stratosphere. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

4. Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data necessary to operate Stratosphere, provide support, maintain security, and fulfill contractual and legal obligations.

4.1 Information You Provide

Examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Identification and Contact Information:
    • Name, email address, employer, phone number, mailing address, and similar contact details.
  • Account and Authentication Information:
    • Usernames, role assignments, and other account data. Passwords are stored in hashed form.
  • Communications and Support Information:
    • Messages you send to us, support requests, feedback, survey responses, and other information you choose to share.
  • Optional Data You Provide:
    • Any additional information voluntarily submitted while using the Services.
4.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use Stratosphere (web or mobile), we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:

  • Usage Information:
    • Pages or screens visited, features used, clicks, search queries, time on page, date and time of access, referring URL, error logs, and general usage patterns.
  • Device Information:
    • Device type, hardware model, operating system and version, app version, screen resolution, language settings, and similar technical details.
  • Network and Diagnostic Information:
    • IP address, Internet service provider, approximate location (city/country), and other diagnostic data.
4.3 Sensitive Data

We do not intentionally collect or process special categories of personal data (such as information about health, race, religion, or biometric data) through Stratosphere. If such data is ever processed, it will be subject to appropriate additional safeguards.

13. Mobile Application Permissions

The Stratosphere mobile app may request access to certain device features, such as:

  • Bluetooth:
    • To scan for nearby Bluetooth devices and to connect to already-paired Bluetooth devices or manage Bluetooth connections.
  • Camera:
    • For barcode or QR code scanning in support of inventory or device interactions.
  • Internet Access:
    • To communicate with Stratosphere services and transmit data.
  • Push Notifications:
    • To send alerts or other non-promotional notifications related to your account or inventory, where allowed by your device settings.

You can manage app permissions in your device settings. Some functionality may be limited if you disable certain permissions.

14. Children’s Privacy

Stratosphere is not directed to children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

If you believe that a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information as required by applicable law.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as posting a prominent notice in the Services or sending a notification.

Your continued use of Stratosphere after any changes become effective signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using Stratosphere.
